Certifications
Made in America Lashing Wire
Our stainless steel lashing wire is manufactured in the USA and conforms to ASTM A580-08, ASTM A555/A555M, and AT&T coating spec AT-7135. We guarantee the product is free from manufacturing defects for five years. This does not cover performance issues caused by environmental exposure (e.g., saltwater, acidic conditions).
Regarding compliance with “Buy American” requirements under federal procurement, there are applicable waivers for conditions such as insufficient domestic availability or cost impacts exceeding 25% of the total project. Currently, to our knowledge, there is only one U.S. facility that melts stainless steel rod. Based on the most recent data available, the cost of domestically melted rod exceeds that of foreign sources by well over 100%.
