OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 14, 2026 — The National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC) today announced the promotions of Steve Beardslee, Rob Smith, Shelley Thompson and Stewart Myers to Senior Vice President, recognizing their leadership, industry expertise and sustained contributions to NCTC and its members.

“Steve, Rob, Shelley and Stewart have each made a lasting impact on NCTC and helped build the foundation for our continued success,” said Lou Borrelli, CEO of NCTC. “They are trusted colleagues, strong advocates for our members and proven leaders who consistently step forward when NCTC needs them. These promotions are well deserved, and I am excited about what they will accomplish in their expanded roles.”

Steve Beardslee — Senior Vice President, Products & Technology
Beardslee will lead NCTC’s video, broadband, mobile and MVNO services, network infrastructure, and emerging technology initiatives, expanding the solutions available to help members grow and operate more efficiently.

Rob Smith — Senior Vice President, Member Development & Strategic Programs
Smith will continue to develop and expand NCTC’s AI Center of Excellence, lead member development, and increase adoption of NCTC products and services, giving members greater access to practical tools and growth opportunities.

Shelley Thompson — Senior Vice President, Programming
Thompson will negotiate and administer programming and broadcast agreements and advise on implementation and compliance, helping members navigate complex requirements and secure valuable content options.

Stewart Myers — Senior Vice President, Programming
Myers will lead the negotiation and drafting of content agreements and help shape NCTC’s content strategy, securing terms and programming solutions that support members’ business needs.

“Our members operate in a rapidly changing marketplace and need practical solutions that help them compete,” Borrelli said. “These promotions position NCTC to better connect strategy with execution across our key member services.”
