Armstrong Utilities

Jeff joined Armstrong in 2003 as the President of Armstrong Utilities, a privately held provider of cable television, high-speed internet and telephone services in PA, OH, WV, MD, NY and KY. He assumed responsibility for Armstrong’s traditional local Telephone companies in 2009. He is also an executive team member of the Armstrong Group of Companies. Armstrong is the 10th largest Multiple System Operator (MSO) in the United States.

In 1998, Jeff joined United International Holdings (now Liberty Global) as Chief Operating Officer of the Telephone Division of United’s European subsidiary UPC located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. At UPC, Jeff became the President of UPC’s wireless local loop company. In 2001, still with UPC, Jeff transferred to Paris, France, as President of UPC’s cable and telecommunications company, UPC France.

Jeff began his career in telecommunications at Nynex in 1987 as a Network Engineer. During his seven years at Nynex, he held several technical and managerial positions. In 1994, he joined Time Warner Cable as part of its joint venture with US West, which led to the creation of Time Warner Telecom. He was the regional Director of Engineering and Operations for their Southeast Region located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and then became Vice President of Time Warner’s National Operations Center in Englewood, Colorado.

Jeff holds degrees in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and Northeastern University, as well as a MBA from Clark University.
