Wednesday Activities sponsored by  eSpial

There is a small, additional cost for these activities

Best in Chow Food Tour - $50 pp - After 7/21 $60 pp
Departs at 12:30 PM

Join your industry peers for a fun 3-hour adventure as you devour four of the iconic Chicago-style dishes from the eateries that perfected them.

Our bus will depart the Sheraton at 12:30 PM. We'll start at Lou Malnati’s for the best Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. After you’ve had your taste there, we’ll walk to the rest of the stops to take in some of the sights and sounds of Chicago and burn some calories!

The following stops on the tour include famous popcorn, Italian beef, an infamous hot dog and of course the dessert that was invented in Chicago -- brownies!

The last stop is just a few blocks from the hotel, so you're welcome to continue touring Chicago on your own, walk back to the hotel with the group or grab a cab! Just a bit of warning, this tour may fail to hold young children’s attention. Also, be aware there is a good amount of walking involved between the locations.

For planning purposes, you should expect to be done with the food tour and back at the hotel by 3:30 p.m.

Architecture Boat Cruise - $30 pp - After 7/21 $40 pp
Departs at 12:40 PM

We’ll depart from the hotel at 12:40 PM, and walk a short distance to board one of “Chicago’s Architecture” 90-minute cruises to see this amazing city from a unique perspective. The views are unbeatable! Docents point out the fascinating sites along the way and you’re sure to experience a lot of “I didn’t know that!” moments. Children under 6 are free. Complimentary Starbucks Coffee, Twinings Tea, Coca-Cola soft drinks, lemonade and cookies are also included.

Planning note: To give more attendees the opportunity to enjoy this unique Chicago experience, we're offering an additional sailing of the boat cruise on Monday. The Wednesday boat tour is a public tour, so the cost is $10.00 less than Monday's private tour. Please book the one that best fits into your show and travel plans.

For planning your return travel, you should expect to be done with the boat tour and back at the dock by 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday Community Outreach

Christians in Communication Food Bank Outreach
1:00 PM - 3:45 PM

We have reserved spots for up to 30 people to help at the Greater Chicago Food Depository where volunteers will help with sorting food and such. It is about 10 miles from the hotel and CIC will help in coordinating rides for all, even if it means Uber or renting vans. Rick Dickson  is heading and coordinating this.
NOTE: Pre-registration is required. Learn more

Make your plans early – some events may sell out AND prices go up to “on-site” purchasing prices after July 21.
