The Independent Show is NCTC's signature event. Held in conjunction with the American Cable Association (ACA), The Independent Show provides three days of educational sessions, exhibits and social events. NCTC's Annual Members Meeting is held in conjunction with The Independent Show.

The Winter Educational Conference (WEC), is NCTC's technology centered meeting. Held in February, the meeting's educational sessions focus on technology trends in the cable industry. The exhibits also feature many of NCTC's supplier partners and allows them to showcase their latest products and services.
