The Independent Show
The Independent Show is an essential experience for independent cable operators, combining education, exhibits and networking opportunities in an intimate, family-friendly setting.
Registration (All Attendees)
All attendees are asked to check-in at the Conference Registration desk to receive their conference badges, bags and other
important information. Registration will open on at 10:00am on Sunday and 7:00am on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. The Conference Registration desk is located in the Indigo Ballroom. See the Conference Attendee List.
Members Meeting & Educational Sessions
The NCTC & ACA Member Meetings will begin Monday, July 29 at 8:00am. Educational Sessions will begin Monday, July 29 at 10:00am.
Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall will feature over 100 Programmers, Hardware Suppliers and Service Providers. It will be located in the Grand Harbor Ballroom. You can find a list of exhibitors by visiting the interactive Exhibit Floor Plan.
Dedicated Exhibit Hours:
- Monday July 29: 1:30pm - 5:30pm
- Tuesday July 30: 9:00am - Noon
Meals
All meals and events are inlcuded with the purchase of a full registration by Attendees and Exhibitors. The following meals are provided during the conference:
- Sunday: Sunday Night Welcome Party (Dinner & Entertainment)
- Monday: Lunch, Offsite Dinner & Entertainment (The Christians in Communications Breakfast is held in conjunction with The Independent Show but is not included in the registration fee. A donation is requested but not required to attend.)
- Tuesday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Entertainment
- Wednesday: Breakfast
Guest Event Pass
You may register your guests for an Event Pass. This pass includes breakfast and all evening events. Exhibits, Sessions and
Lunches are not included. Additional Guest/Family activities will be available for individual purchase.
Golf Tournament, Family Events & Entertainment
One of the best things about The Independent Show is the family friendly atmosphere. Why don't you make it a working
vacation and bring the spouse and kids? Be sure to register them for the Evening Events, the Guest Program and the
professionally organized Children's Program. Don't forget the annual Golf Tournament as well, an excellent opportunity to
network and have fun at the same time.
Conference Attire
Attire is business casual for all events. Because temperatures vary in the meetings rooms, you may want to bring a light
jacket or sweater.
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to change or cancel your registration, please submit the request via email or fax to Lisa Miller at (913) 599-5903
or lmiller@nctconline.org. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after July 15, 2013.
