Application Submission and Non-Refundable Fees

Membership Application
If the prospective applicant is qualified to apply for membership NCTC will provide a Membership Application. Once all materials and fees are submitted to NCTC, we will review the application. The application review process generally requires 30-60 days. But an expedited process is available for an additional fee. The application seeks operational, technical, financial and other information from the applicant. Every application is unique and the evaluation process is detailed and thorough. Incomplete applications may slow a review or harm the applicant's chances to be granted membership.NCTC provides no guarantee of membership. NCTC's Membership Affairs department can assist with questions about the membership application process.

Non-Refundable Fees
Application Fee: An Application Fee of $1,500 is due and payable with submission of the Membership Application.

Initial Membership Fee: If the application is approved, NCTC will notify applicant of the amount of the Initial Membership Fee in an offer of membership letter.

Other Fees or Costs: In addition to the Initial Membership Fee, additional fees, dues, charges or costs associated with membership, participation, the membership application or membership activation process may apply.

Outstanding Balances: NCTC may not admit a new member if any cable television system owned, operated or controlled by that applicant is a system for which any prior owner has unpaid or unresolved outstanding liabilities due to NCTC, whether for programming, hardware, or otherwise. This limitation specifically prohibits the admission of a member owning, operating, or controlling any system for which any programming payment to NCTC has not been paid or resolved by any predecessor entity.
