PROGRAMMING: NCTC negotiates master agreements with programming networks on behalf of participating member companies, and coordinates payment for programming between programming networks and members. Members submit payment to NCTC monthly for the programming carried under NCTC’s master agreements, and NCTC in turn forwards a single payment to the programmer for all carriage by members.
Members may save on the per subscriber fees paid for programming through volume and other discounts in selected programming contracts. Members and programming networks benefit from the efficiencies and savings of consolidated ordering and payment through NCTC.
